Actress Rini Ann George Speaks Loud on Harassment !

August 21, 2025 : Rini Ann George, a Malayalam actress, former journalist, came out with a shocking testimony which left people disturbed in Kochi. She explained that recurrently, this person had been sending her insensible messages during the past three to three-and-a-half years. At one instance, he went as far as taking her to a five star hotel, which she labeled as harassment but there was no physical abuse.

Although the actions are so serious, Rini did not call the politician by name or identify the party affiliation of the politician publicly. Senior party leaders would even be informed about the problem and yet not disciplined, instead the suspect was maintained to get positions and positions in the party.

Rini reported that she feared going to the police because she did not believe the police could safeguard her and she felt unsafe. She did not whimsically want to expose the party involved to embarrassment either. It was the same account resurfacing online on social media, some even by friends, but she had to write on behalf of fellow sufferers who would keep it to themselves, she said.

In Palakkad, BJP workers staged a demonstration at the office of Rahul Mamkootathil, the Congress MLA of the constituency and also the state president of Youth Congress. Political activists associated him with the claims of the Rini, and called him to resign.
